Balsamic Glazed Salmon

  • Author: Jill Mongene
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon filets

¼ c balsamic vinegar

2T honey

2 cloves of minced garlic

2T olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar, honey, and minced garlic. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly into a glaze.
  3. Place the salmon filets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
  4. Brush the salmon filets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour half of the balsamic glaze over the salmon filets, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the remaining balsamic glaze over the top.
  8. Serve the salmon hot with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
